Tips
Best practices to safer computing:
Windows Updates - Your PC should be set to get automatic updates.
Keep your anti-virus software subscription and updates up to date.
Use at least one anti-spyware software application, update and run weekly.
Keep installed software up to date. We do get those reminders, take the time.
Backup on a regular basis.
Make sure you have a firewall if you use the Internet. A hardware router is always better than a software approach if set-up properly.
Use common sense using the Internet. If not sure what to do, back out. Good instincts is good security in itself.
